Cristin will be repping the Stage at May 20th Page Meets Stage
After many years of fill-in host duty, Cristin is thrilled that Taylor Mali has finally signed her up as a poet for his wonderful Page Meets Stage series. Cristin has been paired up with fellow poet and doxie lover Aimee Nezhukumatathil. Cristin and Aimee will trade off poems during the hour and half long show, and there will be dachshund-shaped cookies to nosh on at the break! Show starts at 8pm, but show up early if you want seats! Cristin is Thrilled to be Hosting the NYC-Urbana Finals
Cristin is so happy to be hosting the NYC-Urbana Finals, which is celebrating its 12th year sending a team to the National Poetry Slam. A fantastic group of poets will be vying for a slot on the team, and there are guaranteed performances by Taylor Mali, Rives, Shappy Seasholtz and Eboni Hogan already on the docket. Cristin is thrilled to be joining the fun at the Grind My Gears show
Punk is not dead in the East Village, and as evidence, the Pyramid Club is offering up their May 7th “Grind My Gears” rock and art show themed as “Ladies Nite.” Win prizes and gifts courtsey of Toys in Babeland in between sets. Cristin will be performing alongside rad bands like Radio Drama, Pile of Kittens and Kissy Kamikaze. Plus, a collage station with some hunky male cut-outs, lady’s Lite Bright, and Glow Graffiti walls as well.
