Cristin to Perform at 20th Annual National Poetry Slam

8.3.10 – 8.7.10 —
Cristin and the rest of the NYC Urbana 2010 Poetry Slam Team (Elliott D. Smith, Brian Omni Dillon and Omar Holmon) will battle poets from across the nation at the 2010 National Poetry Slam (Aug 3 – Aug 7). In addition to competing in the evening, Cristin will be participating in numerous day and late night events including hosting a panel discussion on publishing (with Penguin’s Karen Finneyfrock, Write Bloody’s Anis Mojgani and Penmanship Books’s Mahogany Browne), performing with her partner Shappy at the Encyclopedia show and being the resident lady nerd at the National Nerd Slam, hosted by Robbie Q Telfer and Shappy Seastholtz.
