Cristin to host Urbana Finals

Come one, come all to the NYC-Urbana Finals hosted by Cristin and Shappy. The show — which pits some of the country’s best performance poets against each other — starts at 7:15pm, but show up early for good seats and free Marvel loot (they are the judging team this year!) Cristin to perform at the University of Arkansas

Cristin will be making her Arkansas debut at RZ’s Coffeehouse in the Arkansas Union, thanks to the great folks at the University of Arkansas. Cristin to Perform at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA

Cristin is thrilled to be returning to her home state of Pennsylvania and performing for the swell kids at Franklin and Marshall College. Cristin will perform an hour long set of poetry at Ben’s Underground, and will stick around to judge at the student slam which follows. Is there any truth to the rumor that Cristin’s Philly-based parents will be there? Only time will tell! Show starts at 8pm sharp. Cristin to Perform at Small Offering: Tsunami Relief Benefit

0Please join Cristin, Shappy and incrediblely diverse group of artists for a night of music, refreshments, and poetry at the Small Offerings: Tsunami Relief Benefit. The show, curated and hosted by Ishle Yi Park (Poet Laureate of Queens, New York) will feature performances by Cristin, Shappy, Edward Garcia, Suheir Hammad, Bassey Ikpi and Hal Sirowitz among others. A silent auction and raffle will be held, and informational brochures will be available. Bring your friends, your heart, and your wallet, and make your own small offering. The show is being held at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop (16 West 32nd Street, 10th floor) on Wednesday, January 12th, 2005, 7-9pm. Doors open 6:30 with a sliding cover of $10-$20.
