Cristin’s Work Showcased on Indiefeed Performance Poetry Podcast

“BOWERY WOMEN,” the anthology of poetry featuring work by Cristin, is Released!
Following the tradition of “THE BOWERY BARTENDERS BOOK” (which features work by Cristin’s partner Shappy), “BOWERY WOMEN” showcases some of the best voices of the Bowery Poetry, all of whom just happen to be ladies. The anthology collects some of the best known poems of Patricia Smith, Daphne Gottleib, Suheir Hammad, Marty McConnell, the O’Debra Twins, among many, many others. Cristin returns to the University of Arkansas

Cristin to perform with Chamber Dance Project
Reprising her role as the “poet” of the Chamber Dance Company, Cristin will perform for the third season with the famed and innovative ballet company. Previous performances of this work have gained praise from the press, including the New York Times, which called Cristin’s performance “furious and comic” in their 1/26/04 review. Cristin to Give Lecture on How 9/11 Affected the Lower East Side Poetry Community at University of Pennsylvania’s Kelly Writers House on September 11th
Cristin has been open the performance and lecture season of the prestigious Kelly Writers House. Cristin will perform an updated version of speech she gave at the Hasting College’s Syposium on Terrorism in America last October. The speech will be followed by a Q & A.
