Cristin to be Embarassed at Cristin’s Roast and Toast

Cristin’s Mom’s Book “What Fresh Hell Is This?” is Released!

Cristin’s Screenplay Joob Finishes as a Semi-Finalist in “Expose It!” Comedy Screenplay Competition
After living in the shadow of his big brother, Mutter, Cristin’s first screenplay Joob has finally won its own accolades, finishing in as a semi-finalist in the “Expose It!” Comedy Screenplay Competition. The competition, founded by Michael Ades, is designed to give exposure undiscovered comedy writers.

Cristin in latest issue of “Scene Missing Magazine”
Cristin is tickled to join other pop culture netizens such as David Cross, Louis CK and Chuck Klosterman, in the latest online version of “Scene Missing Magazine” found here. The print version due out by Athens,GA-based art project is due out by the end of the year.
Cristin to Participate on Writer’s Panel at Hamptons International Film Festival
In association with her involvement with the HIFF Screenwriters Conference, Cristin will be participating on the Writer’s Panel at the Hampton’s Film International Festival. She will be joining such writers as Theresa Rebeck and Astoria’s own Tony Spiridakis.
Cristin Performs Live in Vegas!
Cristin has been an invited to peform in Las Vegas (Oct 14 – Oct 16) as a part of the Las Vegas Book Expo. The three night engagement includes two evening performances, as well as a Saturday afternoon panel discussion. Fellow performers include her boyfriend Shappy as well Jerry Quickley, Derrick Brown, and Patricia Smith, among others. Cristin to host 2nd Annual National Nerd Slam

Cristin Chosen as Sloan Fellow for the Hamptons International Film Festival Screenwriters Conference
Cristin has been an invited to parciptate in the Hamptons International Film Festival Screenwriters Conference (Sept 9 – Sept 12), which is a 4-Day private conference held in East Hampton for 5 selected writers to receive one-on-one script development with produced writer/ mentors. The Sloan Foundation, which specializes in promoting films about science and technology, is underwriting Cristin’s participation at the conference after she submitted Mütter for consideration. In additional to the weeklong conference, alumni writers benefit from programs at the festival like the International Forum and Special Panels, as well as the Screenwriters Alumni Series, where past conference participants get an opportunity to showcase their work at quarterly events such as table reads, networking events, workshops and, ultimately, screenings of their completed work.
