Cristin is thrilled to be touring for several months in celebration of the release of her nonfiction book, Dr Mütter’s Marvels. Cristin will be giving talks at Brooklyn’s Morbid Anatomy Museum (9/10), Austin’s BookPeople (9/19), Columbus, OH’s Book Loft (9/26), Ann Arbor’s Nicola’s Books (9/28), Chicago’s Quimby’s Bookstore (10/4), Omaha’s The Bookworm (10/18), Iowa City’s Prairie Lights (10/20), Portland’s Powell’s City of Books (11/3), Seattle’s Elliott Bay Book Company (11/8) and Vancouver’s Book Warehouse (11/13), among other amazing events! DR. MÜTTER’S MARVELS receives Kirkus Starred Review
Cristin is absolutely thrilled that her forthcoming nonfiction book, DR. NPR’s STATE OF THE RE:UNION show does a segment on Cristin’s Latest Book
Cristin is honored and thrilled to her book, THE YEAR OF NO MISTAKES be the inspiration for a gorgeously produced segment of Al Letson’s NPS show, STATE OF THE RE:UNION, including audio clip cameos from some of her favorite NYC poets, including Beau Sia, Taylor Mali and Evert Eden, as well as selections of Cristin’s own poems. Cristin to Return to Shady Side Academy
Cristin is thrilled to returning to Shady Side Academy from April 9 thru 11th for another series of workshops, performances and slam just in time for National Poetry Month. It is her fifth time returning to the renown prep school.

Cristin to Host Sarah Kay Book Releases at Joe’s Pub (March 15)
Cristin is absolutely thrilled to be flying to New York City for one night only to host the amazing NO MATTER THE WRECKAGE book release parties at Joe’s Pub for her friend, the amazing poet, Sarah Kay. This is Sarah’s debut collection of poetry, since her work went viral — thanks in large part to her incredible TED Talk — and she is so honored & excited to be hosting this book’s incredible debut. Cristin To Be Performing Several Times During AWP 2014
Cristin is very excited to be attending the 2014 AWP conference. She is one of the readers at the official AWP event celebrating the 10th Anniversary of Write Bloody Publishing, alongside Write Bloody founder & chief, Derrick Brown, as well as other WB authors: Jon Sands, Brendan Constantine and Mindy Nettifee (Saturday Morning, 9am). Cristin to be Keynote Performer at Southeast Missouri State University’s biannual Wordsfair
Cristin is honored to be invited as the Keynote Performer at Southeast Missouri State University (Cape Girardeau campus)’s biannual Wordsfair: Celebration of the Arts. Cristin to Perform in NYC
Cristin is thrilled to be returning to our old hometown for New York City for several special gigs. First up, on Weds Jan 22nd, The Year of No Mistakes will be enjoying its first official book release at Brooklyn’s Greenlight bookstore. Cristin will be reading alongside Aziza Barnes, Cynthia Lowen, and Kamilah Aisha Moon in this free series curated by the amazing Angel Nafis. For more information, click here.
